Killer Whale Tales

Killer Whale Tales works in K-6th grade classrooms, providing science-intensive environmental education throughout the Pacific Northwest. The program empowers students to become active environmental stewards who can make strong and lasting contributions in their communities.

When students become engaged in understanding orcas and the threats to orca survival, they are often driven by compassion to become more active and vocal stewards for the whales in the Puget Sound area. The Mother House Fund has provided multiple grants to support the work of the Killer Whale Tales team as they assist students in becoming more active and vocal stewards for the whales, and connect their school learning with their out of school lives.
